You Are an Influencer Jesus’ statement that believers are “salt of the earth” and “light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16)” is that believers individually and collectively are "salt and light" and calls believers to act as a preserving and illuminating influence in an often corrupt, dark world. It’s not something we attain or become, but something Jesus says all believers just through their faith and salvation are!  Believers are called to be agents of preservation of truth  B
