When you visit:

Here is what you can expect: Some people will be wearing suits and ties or dresses or skirts while others will sport jeans and flip-flops.
Here is how our worship time breaks down:
– We open with an open mic time where people can share concerns, prayer requests, make announcements or share some good news.
– We sing. We do not have a band or even a piano we just use our voices and sing songs praising God and encouraging one another.
– We take communion,(also known as the Lord’s Supper or Eucharist) to remember the sacrifice of Christ and look forward to His return. We pass trays down the rows, first for people to get a piece of cracker that represents the body of Christ and then to drink a small cup of grape juice that is a symbol of His blood. We practice what would be referred to as “open communion,” meaning we do not restrict the taking of these emblems to members only. All who come are free to choose for themselves to participate or not.
– We take up a collection. There is no obligation to give monetarily but this provides an opportunity for church members to make contributions that they’ve planned. On the 4th Sunday of each month we take a second collection that goes for some special charity or cause.
– We have a 20-30 minute sermon. There are 6-8 men from the church who take turns teaching a lesson.
– Before the sermon the children are invited to go to the front of the auditorium and someone teaches them or does some kind of song or activity with them (about 5 minutes). After this they are dismissed to classes that hit on their level while the adults hear the sermon. Children are free to go to these classes or to stay with their parents for the sermon.
– We wrap things up with another song and another opportunity for people to make prayer requests.
– Each Sunday we have sandwiches, donuts, tomato pie, sausage rolls, a mixed assortment of fruit, juice and coffee for people to enjoy when the worship time is over.

We do hope that you will join us this Sunday
